Reading to Rise: Brigada Eskwela 2026

We focus on supporting another literacy and education initiative for the 2026 school year
This past June, Bigay Puso supported Dep Ed Philippines’ annual Brigada Eskwela campaign and focused on giving back through the power of reading and education.
Brigada Eskwela is an annual nationwide program in the Philippines aimed at preparing public schools for the start of the academic year.
We partnered with T. Alonzo Elementary School in Quezon City to help sponsor their “Reading to Rise” literacy initiative. Thanks to our community, we built reading nooks for the students throughout various classrooms. Special thank you to Camille M. and the Palacio family from California for their generosity and contributions to this initiative.
