RECAP: Literacy & Numeracy (June)

We return to the bundok for another installment of our literacy and feeding program

After months of hiatus due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, we finally traveled back to the mountain community of Sitio Culasisi in Antipolo, Rizal to continue setting up our learning center.

We received some donations from our supporters during the beginning of the year, which we used to buy a brand new bookshelf, play mat, and white boards for the learning center, as well as cooking supplies for our feeding program.

We also received books from various donors to set up a mini library. The kids had some quiet reading time and were extremely excited since they don't have regular access to books and other learning materials.

The kids also enjoyed eating sopas, which we prepared on site, as well as the fruit, snacks, and juice that we brought for them.
